I pair them with daffodils for pretty late winter color. I dug the bulbs from under the <strong>Crabapple<\/strong> tree just after moving here and put them into containers. The ground under the tree wasn&#8217;t ideal. They seem much happier in the containers and have bloomed profusely for years.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/georgiagalgardens.com\/?attachment_id=158\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-158\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-158\" alt=\"DaffyFressiaHyacinthContainer\" src=\"https:\/\/georgiagalgardens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/SSCN0298.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/georgiagalgardens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/SSCN0298.jpg 320w, https:\/\/georgiagalgardens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/SSCN0298-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This photo was taken before the hyacinths bloomed, but you can see their trailing, green, skinny leaves hanging over the sides of the container. Also in this container, are a variety of miniature<strong> Daffodil<\/strong> and fantastically fragrant <strong>Freesia<\/strong>-which will bloom this summer.
